About Eugene Barber

After many years competing from the age of 7 through to the Amateur categories in Old Time, Ballroom and Latin American I turned professional so I could pass on my knowledge and experience to others.

I am a former All Ireland champion and finalist in the British sequence championships. I have also represented my country in European and World competitions and appeared on the original BBC Come Dancing series.

More recently, I entered the Blackpool Dance Festival in the Inventive dance competition reaching the final with my Ladygate Waltz. I hope to continue entering inventive dances competitions, up and down the country, in the future.

I always try to provide the best learning experience for all my pupils from beginners to improvers and those taking medal tests. Dancing is such a wonderful experience and a great way to meet other and share a passion for dance.
